Fernando J. Bras is the middle child of a large, close family with roots in Mozambique and Portugal. He lived a significant part of his life in Portugal until he immigrated to the USA in 2001 to support his newly formed family.
He progressed to direct the accounting department for a social services agency in RI. He graduated Cum Laude in 2016 with a BS in Accounting, received the Dean's List Commendation for the university's accounting department, and is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Johnson and Wales University.
This father of three bright and hard-working children has moved to Florida with his two sons to pursue happiness. He likes to run, nature, teal waters, and Florida's longer, bright, sunny days.
He is a caring, loving individual who loves being around family and friends, enjoys good laughter, and appreciates honesty.
His mission is to look after the ones who need help and give back to the communities when possible!
Michelle M. Santiago is an enthusiastic individual born in Japan who moved and lived in Alabama until she relocated to Fort Lauderdale in 1987. This mother of three blessed and thriving children grew up not only in a military family but a large one. During her vibrant life in the medical field, Michelle became certified in nursing and worked for One Blood for 17 years! This caring and loving professional worked countless years for the Visiting Nursing Association and private duty caring for the elderly. Michelle is also certified as a medical assistant and is currently enrolled with Fortis Institute Nursing School in Port Saint Lucie to pursue an LPN degree. Future Smiles Senior Living emerged from her lifelong dream of caring for the elders, which became a reality due to her relentless commitment, dedication, and hard work.
At Future Smiles Senior Living, we understand the need to give back and support our communities, particularly those who stand closer to our hearts. Michelle has lost a loved one to Alzheimer's Disease and cares for many residents with the same disease in her facilities. This year, she was determined to fundraise $1,500.00 and run one of the largest half-marathons in the country. All this was possible with the help and support of many professionals who care for our residents daily and countless family and friends! A special "thank you" to everyone who made it possible for her and CaringKind, which raised over $100,000.00 for the first time!!
